Queen City Classic Poker Tournament hitting Horseshoe Casino – Reminiscent of the World Series of Poker Circuit event that took place last September at Horseshoe Cincinnati, the 12-day Queen City Classic will be held at the Pavilion casino level March 13-24. This is the first branded tournament of its kind in Ohio.
“Our first World Series of Circuit Poker event brought in a large number of players from the Midwest and across the country who came from the Cincinnati Horseshoe for hosting top tournaments,” said Jason Newman, poker manager at an Ohio casino. “We want to give players another signature poker event to look at while looking forward to the next WSOP.”
Buy-ins for Queen City Classic range from $ 100 to $ 1,500 for the main event on March 24. The buy-in for No Limit Hold ‘Em on the first day of the tournament is $ 260. Games for tournaments range from No Limit Hold’ Em to Omaha, with tournaments designed especially for seniors. There are also five Bounty series tournaments and 10 Turbo Series tournaments.
“We wanted to provide a variety of games and purchases to accommodate all levels of poker players – from beginners to professionals,” adds Newman. “You never know who will take home the six figure prize.”
Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati will host the inaugural Queen City Classic poker tournament next month with a minimum prize pool of $ 500,000 and a grand prize of $ 100,000.
